Junior Lauren Lai was elected as Justice High School’s Executive President for the 2022–2023 school year. Lai participates in schoolwide activities such as Chamber Orchestra, Winter Track & Field, National Honor Society, and more!
Lai originally applied for this position in an attempt to lead the school to the best of its abilities. Now elected, she has the responsibility to represent the Student Government Association (SGA) or designate a representative at all high school functions, committees and councils, and at appropriate community, state, and federal functions.
Lai hopes that by acquiring this position, she can help make students’ voices heard. “[I believe] the way to change is through the students. Being open to their thoughts is the best way to create change. I will stand as a leader and as an outlet for students,” said Lai.
