Every National Basket­ball Asso­ci­a­tion (NBA) season holds a week­end where the play­ers and some celebri­ties compete in games and vari­ous compe­ti­tions, such as the dunk contest and the All-Star game, and they cele­brate the all star game. This year, the All-Star week­end was held at Salt Lake City, Utah from Febru­ary 17 through Febru­ary 19. The first major event of the NBA All-Star week­end is the ruffles All-Star celebrity game. Every year they have two NBA play­ers draft a team of celebri­ties to play; this year it was Team Wade versus Team Ryan with Team Wade winning 81–78 with the Seat­tle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf winning MVP. The next major event is the NBA All- Star game with Team Lebron versus Team Gian­nis. Sopho­more Sidi Mohamed Mouatassim’s predic­tions for the game included Team Lebron winning 1071-168. In real­ity, Team Gian­nis won 184–175 against Team Lebron. The NBA All-Star week­end also contains the 3 point contest. This year for the dunk contest, Mac Mclung put on a show and won! For the 3 point contest, Port­land trail blaz­ers player Damian Lillard claimed his victory against the 2020 cham­pion, Buddy Hield.
