2024 Spring Makeup Releases

While 2023 had some good makeup releases such as Haus Labs by Lady Gaga’s Medium Cover­age Foun­da­tion and Makeup by Mario’s Surre­al­Skin Awak­en­ing Concealer. So far, two months into 2024, the makeup indus­try has been releas­ing a lot of new prod­ucts such as Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty Body Lotion, Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 59 Perfume Mist, Char­lotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner, Gucci à Lèvres Hydrat­ing Plump­ing Lip Gloss, YSL Lash Class, Extreme Volume Water­proof Mascara, and many other new releases. Here are some of the new 2024 Spring makeup releases accord­ing to Sephora.

Fenty Beauty Hydrat­ing Concealer

One of the newest releases from Rihanna’s makeup brand Fenty Beauty is the Fenty Beauty Hydrat­ing Concealer. It is a “12 hour-hydrat­ing long wear concealer” that is supposed to feel hydrat­ing under the eyes and hide puffi­ness and dark circles. This concealer was very easy to blend into the skin. Though it is not full cover­age, It looks good if you want to look very natural and go for the no-makeup makeup look. 

Tarte Beauty Glow Bronz­ing Drops

Simi­lar to the Drunk Elephant D‑Bronzi Drops with Peptides, Tarte created their own version of the bronze drops. The Glow Bronz­ing Drops is a Liquid Bronzer and has a very light cover­age. When blended, it has a very shim­mery finish. You can also apply this bronzer not only to your face but also through­out the body. The drops them­selves were very hard to blend, and the shim­mer stayed on for almost an hour. Some users on the Sephora website say that is a great prod­uct simi­lar to the Drunk Elephant Glow drops. Huda Beauty Easy and Bake and Snatched Pressed Talc-Free Bright­en­ing and Setting Powder

Besides being known for their infa­mous Easy Bake Loose Baking & Setting Powder, Huda Beauty created a press powdered version of their setting powder. It’s very bright­en­ing and has very medium cover­age for a natural finish. It completely blurs one’s pores and one main key Ingre­di­ent of the powder is Hyaluronic Acid for a hydrat­ing appli­ca­tion. Accord­ing to sephora​.com reviews, 96% of users using the prod­uct felt like their “skin looked smoother after using this product.”

Urban Decay Volu­miz­ing Tinted Brow Gel

One of Urban Decay’s latest releases is the Urban Decay Volu­miz­ing Tinted Brow Gel that is an eyebrow tint that is desig­nated to keep your brows in place for up to 24 hours. It’s “trans­fer-resis­tant wear that resists flak­ing” and as well as water­proof. One user on Ulta​.com said that “It is easy to apply and it makes my eyebrows look fuller, yet natural.” 

YSL Lash Class, Extreme Volume Water­proof Mascara

One of Yves Saint Laurent latest releases is the YSL Lash Class, Extreme Volume Water­proof Mascara. This mascara is a water­proof mascara that is volu­miz­ing and long wear­ing and then can be worn up to 48 hours. The mascara is also “heat proof and humid­ity proof and a smudge proof formula.” one user on YSLbeau​tyus​.com said that it had ampli­fied the volume of their lashes with­out sepa­rat­ing or clump­ing them. 

Anas­ta­sia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick

Recently, Anas­ta­sia Beverly Hills released their new Liquid Lipsticks. Rang­ing from 12 differ­ent shades, the liquid lipstick stains very heav­ily on the lips and is very bright and creates the appear­ance of bigger lips and has a matte finish. The pigment, espe­cially shades like Amer­i­can Doll and Crush have very defin­ing colors that stand out a lot. A few users on ulta​.com say that the texture felt very dry, others say that it doesn’t last and doesn’t stay on for very long. While most think that it has lasted for them, one user said that it stayed on for 4 hours. 

Char­lotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner

Besides Char­lotte TIlbury releas­ing Glow­gasm Face Palette,  They Recently released a vari­ety of 19 colors of their Lip Cheat Lip Liner. This lip liner defines your lips and is also very pigmented once applied with lipstick. It also has a matte finish and stays in place and doesn’t trans­fer. It also stays up to 6 hours or longer and doesn’t smudge. The reviews on sephora​.com are posi­tive and lots of reviews say that they are satis­fied with how long their lip liner stayed on.
